Students who have taken Pre-Calculus with a grade of A- or higher or AP Calculus AB with a grade of C+ or higher, who are interested in math and wish to prepare for an introductory college statistics class through AP Calculus BC, or who wish to take the AP Statistics exam for transferable college credit

Dr. Rowelyn Odod
Rowelyn L. Odod, Ph.D, is the Science Department Chair at St. Mary’s School System. She’s a graduate of Doctor of Philosophy in Development Research Administration at University of Southeastern Philippines. She’s been an educator for 15 years, where she spent her first 2 years in teaching elementary pupils and 13 years in secondary level. She had a background in teaching Sciences (General Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics for more than 10 years), Math, Social Sciences, Human Philosophy, Statistics and Practical Research (for 3 years).Currently, she’s teaching at St. Mary’s School, handling Math and Science subjects ( AP Statistics and AP Physics 1). Aside from teaching, she’s also into Research and Statistics. She was a Master Teacher I in her country before she came in China last February 22, 2018.
Further, she loves reading books and going to different places with her family. She loves to explore more of the place, learn more from the experience and understand the peculiarity of the culture. Her favorite quote is from Henry Adams “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”

AP Calculus AB is designed to be the equivalent of a first semester college calculus course devoted to topics in differential and integral calculus. AP Calculus BC is designed to be the equivalent to both first and second semester college calculus courses.
Course Design
AP Calculus AB is designed to be the equivalent of a first semester college calculus course devoted to topics in differential and integral calculus. AP Calculus BC is designed to be the equivalent to both first and second semester college calculus courses. AP Calculus BC applies the content and skills learned in AP Calculus AB to parametrically defined curves, polar curves, and vector-valued functions; develops additional integration techniques and applications; and introduces the topics of sequences and series.
